In 2005 a friend of mine, R. Fairweather, asked if I would help him set up a web site at www.lempsternh.org with Dreamweaver templates to enable him to provide his town with a web site where residents and visitors can find information about Lempster and the town government. He has been quite active in the project and has edited the site extensively using Dreamweaver’s WYSIWYG design editing mode. Known to excel in everything he does, my friend went about duplicating the templates, modifying them and setting up a similar site for a community group he is involved in called The Friends of Lempster Meetinghouse.
Over the years the Lempster site has accumulated a tremendous amount of information and numerous helpful links to guide visitors. The detail included in some of the pages is quite amazing. For example, check the Transfer Station page to see how well questions are answered about what can and cannot be recycled and the cost of each non-recycled item for disposal. I, at least, am impressed because my town of considerably larger population than Lempster does not provide this kind of useful detail. The site still employs the original table layout I helped set up and seems to be providing the community of Lempster, New Hampshire a great service.

Cliff,
Thanks for your words – your help has been invaluable to me in envisioning, constructing, and troubleshooting my town’s site(s) over the years!

Glad to be of assistance.
Glad you reminded me of the Town’s website. Somehow I lost it in “favorites”
